I parked at the curb, and we paused before getting out.

"Okay, so you guys are questioning Molly," said Summer. "While I talk to Miss Prunn."

I nodded. "I think that's better if you ask her, so she won't think I'm being a jealous girlfriend."

I got out and went to the back of the truck and lifted out the box. Together, the three of us walked toward the museum. I noted that Molly's green car was already here.

Aunt Edna pulled the museum door open, and held it while I went through with the box. Summer followed me with her laptop.

Inside, at the reception desk, sat Ginny Prunn in her usual sparkly outfit, complete with a bedazzled beret. Olive was standing in front of the desk, a box in front of her. It was JJ's box of extra race shirts.

"Oh, there you are. Tessa, do you remember how many shirts were in here?" Olive asked me.

I thought back. "I think there were thirteen. I remember saying a baker's dozen."

"See!" Olive crowed to her sister. "I told you so!"

Ginny fussed with her sleeves. "Well, I told you I only counted twelve." She glared at her sister. "I'm not senile. I know how to count!"

"Ladies," Summer said, stepping forward. "Can I help with something?"

Before the ladies could answer, the door opened again and Molly Murphy came in. She looked around at the five of us. "I'm sorry, did I interrupt?" she asked. Her eyes fell to the box of shirts, but she quickly looked away.

Aunt Edna waved Molly to follow her. "There's a table we can set up at back here," she said. She led Molly and me to the research room, and I set the box on the table.

"So, here we go," Aunt Edna said, plopping into the seat nearest the box. She blew out a big puff of air, making dust fly. "Whooeee, that's some dust, eh?" she said, laughing. Then went into a coughing fit.

I exchanged a smile with Molly.

"All right, let's see what we have here." Aunt Edna lifted the box lid and set it aside. She peered into the box, while Molly and I leaned forward in anticipation.

"Ah-hum." Aunt Edna pulled out a stack of pictures and handed them to me, then pulled out another stack for Molly. She pulled out a third for herself. "Let's start with these."

"I feel terrible not wearing archive gloves," Molly said.

Aunt Edna waved off her concern. "Handle by the edges and don't sneeze on 'em."

I laughed. "Okay, well, how shall we do this? Separate town pictures, house pictures, CCC pictures?"

"Sounds good," said Molly. "This one can start the town pictures." She set down a photo of the inside of a bar, its patrons staring blankly at the camera.

"This looks like CCC," I said, holding up mine. I placed it next to the bar photo.

We were all halfway through our stacks when Aunt Edna finally found a "home" photo.

We continued with our task, the piles growing larger with the passing minutes. We chatted
